+2C and overcast (as usual this time of year).
Category: Kayaking
Birka
A damp day, but we drove out to Rastaholm.
Hässelby holme
Nothing much to say about this trip.
Stendörren
This years expedition suffered from too many work related excuses. Peter was able to take a day off, and we headed out for a two and half day trip at Stendörren.
Håkansskär revisited
Got out of office when the weather finally cleared up this terrible Summer.
Where did June go?
I’m sure there have been lots of reasons not to kayak yet in June. Well there’s the European Cup going on for one!
Långholmen
What’s happening, first we met a Navy patrol boat…
Kungshatt
Spring is most certainly here. Lots of boats in the water. A fair amount of kayakers. And the first water scooters – a nuisance, if nt outright dangerous. Enough talk.
Spring, at last
Temperatures around 10C with Valpurgis night tomorrow.
Munsö in a drizzle
Sunday April 22 and a few degrees above the freezing point. The weather services promise that Spring will arrive next weekend – again.
Winter’s gone
After goofing around for an hour and a half last week, not finding the middle part of the paddle – here we go again. (The thing was, surprisingly, already fitted to the paddle, but so was the storm one at the other paddle half – so the two halfs didn’t fit. Sigh…).
Pool training
It’s winter, there is no open water in the Stockholm area. Except indoor pools. So off I go to attend the Horisonkajak (http://www.horisontkajak.se/) pool training.
