Went to Horisonkajak at Norråva and tried out two paddles, the Werner Shuna and Camano ones. Both good paddles, with the smaller blade Camano singing and dancing with me. Ended up buying the Shuna.

Trips in the Stockholm archipelago
Söderöra
A nice day for a trip to the archipelago.
Bullerö and Nämdö
Three kayaks and two sail boats to meet at Peters place on Nämdö. Justus, Peter and myself paddled.
Söderarm, at last
We took a day off (Magnus from vacation) and had a three day trip. We are so lucky, after weeks of miserable weather, summar has finally arrived. Started at Rävsnäs and paddled out to Vattungarna, via Håkansskär the first day.
Erstaviken
Peter and I drove out to Tyresö and hit the water in nice Spring weather.
Stockholm morning
Brought Mia and went with Horisontkajak on their “City morning” trip. Without breakfast, met up with the group at 6:30.
BRIS – kayak technique
I attended the BRIS class arranged by Horisontkajak this weekend. A brilliant walk through and practice of kayak techniques and safety. Carin and Bengt guided us and we that attended were myself, Annica, Torkel, Andy, Jens, Birgitta, Laurant, Anna, Tone, Maria, Gunilla, Johanna and Jerker. A jolly bunch that I didn’t know in beforehand.
Håkansskär revisited
Got out of office when the weather finally cleared up this terrible Summer.
Björkvik, Ingarö in late January
The lakes are frozen now, so we had to go out to the sea.
Djurgården
Yet another fine Fall day in Stockholm, +5C in the morning and little wind. The sun is low this time of year, see my shadow here at 9:30 am when the kayaks are picked up.
Lådna
A fantastic Fall day, 14C and no wind. Peter and I went out to Horisontkajak at Norråva and paddled north.
Furusundsfjärden
Brought brother Magnus out for the his first paddle this season.
