Drove down to Justus place on Orust on Tuesday night. Stopped at Gyllene Uttern to watch the sunset.
Wednesday, took the ferry across to Sydkoster to fetch the kayaks.
I forgot the GPS, so no track for this days trip. But we paddled around the Jutholmen area.
We paddled south over some shallow waters.
Lots of oysters here.
Landed on the Basteviken beach at Nordkoster.
Despite signs and webpages telling us the local grocery should be open until September, it was closed. So we had to take dinner at Galejen, poor us.
Here’s the view over Sydkoster.
On Thursday, we had to visit the grocery on Sydkoster. But the ferry was not available until 11 am, so we looked around.
Finally on Sydkoster, we visited Valfjället and the views.
And then, back at the cabin.
Peter L and Justus took a spin around Nordkoster, but Peter N and I continued our island excursions.
And had a swim in the sea.
Dinner at Strandkanten.
Friday, we paddled south to Swedens westernmost lighthouse, Ursholmen.
We took a break and visited the Ursholmen island with its minimal museum.
And then we headed off towards Lådderskären with its canals.
The ever photogenic Justus.
A cul-de-sac canal.
Time for some snorkeling.
Back at the harbor.
Relaxing in the sun after another great day.
View from our cabin, sorry about the backlight.
A last dinner out.
